I really dug this Morning Teleportation Song the second I heard it. “Expanding Anyway” is a bright psychedelic indie pop song with a super-catchy chorus. It’s a lot of fun and the video is totally crazy! Enjoy!

Awesome new mp3 from Brooklyn band Forest Fire hit the interwebs today. From their forthcoming LP coming out on Fat Cat, here’s Future Shadows.
Caged Animals are an awesome new(ish) band from Brooklyn. Frontman Vincent Cacchione (also of Soft Black) can write songs for many genres, but this project of his may be my favorite. This limited 7 inch is available from Lucky Number Music (Darwin Deez, Friends, etc) in the UK. Get it now before it’s gone!
Yeah, this is hardly a video, but how about the song? I’m really digging this first single off the new album “Mirror Traffic” (release date: August 23rd).
Can’t wait to see Stephen and the Jicks when they come back to LA and play the Henry Fonda Theater on October 19th.
Check out tour dates, while you listen to the track.
Fucked Up have released their new album “David Comes to Life” and it’s a doozy. Below is an interesting (and rather long) video for the song “Queen of Hearts.”
Here’s a download to my favorite track: “A Little Death”
A great retro sounding band and not to be confused with the emo/punk band from the UK with the same name, these lads are from Australia. Check out their myspace and download one my favorite new tracks “Alright Now, Honey”
And check out their first official video — “For You & Me”
This video for Panda Bear’s “Surfer’s Hymn” might be unofficial, but I think it’s pretty solid and deserves some views. Great concept and really cool look. A nice fit for my favorite track off of Tomboy.
If you dig some My Morning Jacket and Americana slide guitar sounds you might want to throw on some Futurebirds and crack open some cheap beer while you listen to their latest release on from your porch. You can download my favorite track, “Johnny Utah” or watch this live video of the song “Dirty D” below. Or go crazy and do both!

More of that surf sound nostalgia from some kids in Ohio. Download Monster Rally – “Surf Erie”and if you dig it, go to Monster Rally’s Bandcamp page and let the downloading begin!
I know Pusha T’s “Fear of God” mixtape came out a few months back, but I can’t stop listening to “Raid.” The song is great. Download RAID FEAT 50 CENT AND PHARRELL WILLIAMS or go grab the entire mixtape. It’s free.
